Alex Trebek Goes Rogue..Roasts Contestant On Air

When you think of people insulting other people, the name Alex Trebek is probably furthest from your mind.  However, as he proves in this clip, that is not the case.

When Alex approaches the contestants (usually after the first commercial break) he likes them to give a little background on themselves.  Who they are, what they do, where they're from etc.  But one contestants answer on her hobbies seemed to get something you rarely see from Alex...an insult.

She described her hobby as Nerd Core Hip Hop.  Rapping about video games, science fiction and having a hard time finding romantic partners.  What Alex says next is the epitome of "throwing shade"
