Alex Bregman Becomes Houston Astros $100 Million Man

$100 million dollars over 6 years is the value of the deal that 3rd baseman Alex Bregman signed with the Houston Astros yesterday.

Although the deal has yet to be announced by the Astros, the deal keeps Bregman on the Astros until 2024 and avoids arbitration eligibility through 2022. Bregman was on the All-Star squad last season where he was the MVP. In his 2 & 1/2 seasons on the Astros, Bregman has notched a batting average of .282 with 58 home runs and 208 RBIs. He also made significant contributions to the Astros AL West titles the past 2 years and in the 2017 World Series win.
