We love our fried foods in the state of Texas. If you don't know what I mean, just visit the state fair sometime. Every year people attempt more and more unusual recipes, always ending up in the deep fryer. Just take a look at some of these winners from previous state fairs: Viva Las Vegas Fried Ice Cream; Fried Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Banana Sandwich; Fried Coke; Fried Bacon; Fried Beer, it's a pretty imaginative list. Well, how about some Fried Kool-Aid?That's a new twist on the state fair craze, this time coming from the San Diego County Fair. Tasters describe it as being "like a doughnut hole that starts off tart and tangy, and finishes off really sweet."  Creator "Chicken" Charlie Boghosian says he sold 400-600 orders the first day, which translates to around 9,000 Kool-Aid Balls eaten over opening weekend. Boghosian has debuted other fried items at the fair in the past, including deep-fried thin mints and Klondike bars.

Ugh...I can feel my arteries hardening just thinking about it.
