That being said, Texas has some pretty unique spots; some of them are just a mini-road trip away. One of the best ways to relax is some fun in the sun, and Texas has plenty of that! Jacobs Well, Wimberley, TX

Jacobs Well attracts those with a daredevil persona. This location is home to Texas' longest underwater cave system. For those who want an exhilarating rush, you would be taking a plunge into a hole that is 140 feet deep.

Hamilton Pool, Dripping Springs, TX
What was once entirely underwater now sits as a cave-life pool with a semi-creepy look to it. Its dome-shaped roof creates such a relaxing vibe. This place has spring break written all over it, but be sure to plan and book a reservation because, the word is, it's a pretty popular place. It's relatively close, too, just 20 miles from Austin-DAY TRIP!

Blue Lagoon, Huntsville, TX

This hidden gem lurks behind 30-foot limestone walls and a ton of trees. . At the lagoon, you can lay out to tan, swim, and even take scuba lessons for only $20.

Barton Springs Pool
Located just minutes from downtown Austin, Barton Springs Pool is a perfect place for swimming and sunbathing. The water is excellent, and there are plenty of hills and room to layout and relax. This swimming hole stays 68 degrees year-round; who could ask for more?

Pedernales Falls State Park

This location is a spring break special. It has enough things to do to have your schedule jam-packed all weekend. You can go hiking on a trail, go horseback riding, and if you haven't heard of geocaching : I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CATCH UP WITH THE TIMES. Of course, though, there's a beautiful swimming hole where you can swim, tube, and kayak.

Tonkawa Falls
Take the plunge and jump off the giant rock bed into the lukewarm water. Tonkawa Falls is just a short drive and the perfect place to gather with friends and family for fun get-away. The area got its name from the tribe of Native Americans who once inhabited the area. Excavations have turned up hundreds of artifacts over the years.
