I sure wouldn't, unless it was magic hair that could be spun into gold but, over the weekend, a lock of hair from one of the founders of our country was sold at auction in Dallas for $6,875.

The hair belonged to Thomas Jefferson, and was sold by Heritage Auctions in Dallas. It was reportedly 14 strands of Jefferson's hair, taken at the time of his death on July 4th, 1826.

The hair was cut from Jefferson by his personal physician.
