Which Van Halen Would You Rather See? [VIDEO]

Van Halen has always been one of my favorite bands. From the early days when their first album came out, right up until their most recent album "A Different Kind of Truth' from a few years ago. Granted, their recent effort wasn't as good as their heyday but, it was great to see them back with David Lee Roth on vocals. I have been fortunate enough to see the band live in 1979 and again in 1991, and in both cases, they were the best band I have ever seen. That's probably because I knew 99% of their songs from every album. I also think they've really never put out what I would consider a bad album.

I bring this up because just a few days ago, Sammy Hagar was quoted in an interview saying that he's like to tour with Van Halen and David Lee Roth and of course, bring back original bassist Michael Anthony for the fun. I think that would be fantastic.

Just imagine, a set with tunes featuring 'Diamond' Dave and a set with late 80's and 90's material with Sammy. To use the title of a Van Halen song, it would truly be 'The Best of Both Worlds.'
