Another Christmas has come and gone. We enjoyed nights around the Christmas tree sharing memories and creating new ones. A real Christmas tree adds so much to the season but, when it's all said and done, what do you do with it? If you live in the city of Victoria, there is an answer.

Beginning Monday, January 4th, the city will pick them up as yard waste for you. Only live trees will be collected, and all decorations and metal stands must be removed before they're left out for pickup. Also, flocked trees will not be collected because those cannot be turned into compost.

Sure beats having to compost it yourself!
