What, Are You Kidding Me?
A Seattle, Washington elementary school may have taken political correctness a bit too far, when they decided that Easter eggs should now be referred to as "spring spheres." Wait, what?!? Now, we've heard it all!
Yes, it's true. According to a report from a Seattle TV station, a teenager who asked to be identified as Jessica, was volunteering at the school filling plastic eggs with treats for third-graders, when she said she was told to use the term, when referring to Easter eggs. Jessica didn't identify the school in question.
Is it just me, or is that crazy? Have you ever even heard of anyone being offended by the term Easter eggs? On second thought, I guess we do need to remember where this story takes place.
