The election is over fortunately, and there were some awesomely bad political ads for local candidates around the country. We may not have had very many that stood out as weird here in Victoria, but there were some doozies around the country. Here are some of the strangest.

Here's an ad for Bob Quast who ran for Senate in Iowa.

Meanwhile, Joni Ernst bragged about castrating hogs in Iowa.

J.D. Winteregg was after John Boehner in Ohio.

In Washington State, Estakio Beltran took a shot at an elephant pinata.

And here in Texas, Lt. Governor David Dewhurst had an impersonator singing as his opponent Dan Patrick.
