Thanks to Victoria Police Department's Crime Re4duction Unit, 140 bags of synthetic marijuana will never see the streets of Victoria. Breon Carroll, 23, and Lidia Armendarize, 23, both of Victoria, were arrested Friday on suspicion of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 and group 2, altered identification number, possession of marijuana and two counts of endangering a child with criminal negligence. Both were transported to the Victoria County Jail and remain in custody.

Officers located and seized more than 140 bags of synthetic marijuana, more than a gram of crack-cocaine, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, $4,900 in cash and two firearms during the search.

Carroll is being held without bond and Armendarize can't get out unless she posts a $71,500 bond......good luck. Officers also seized crack cocaine, regular ACTUAL marijuana, some cash and some guns.

If you think this wouldn't happen in good ol Victoria, you're sadly mistaken. Thank you VPD for taking out the trash.
