Victoria Generals to Host 2012 TCL All-Star Game

You know we've got some baseball talent here in Victoria, just check out the Victoria Generals sometime, and you'll see what I mean. The Generals play in the Texas Collegiate League, and there are some great players on all the teams. We'll get a chance to see the best of the league next Monday, July 9th when the TCL All-Star Game at Riverside Stadium.

This year marks the 2nd time in 3 years the Generals have hosted the game, which feature 22 players voted by the coaches from around the league. Generals head coach Chris Clemons will lead the South squad while East Texas Pump Jacks head coach Ben Taylor will lead the North.

Right before the game at 6, the Generals will host the 2012 TCL Home Run Derby presented by Victoria Nissan.

Tickets for the 2012 TCL All-Star Game and Home Run Derby are on sale now.  Fans can purchase tickets at the Generals team store located at 3708 North Navarro, Suite A in the Landmark Shopping Center, online at www.VictoriaGenerals.com, or by calling 361-485-9522.  Tickets can also be purchased at any of the Victoria Generals upcoming home games leading up to the All-Star Game on Monday, July 9.
