The Victoria Generals picked up another one for the win column last night, downing the Texas Marshals 6-3.

Good pitching by starter Toller Boardman was key in the Texas Collegiate League victory, Boardman went 8 innings giving up just 2 runs on 5 hits, with 7 strikeouts. Boardman, who leads the league with 3 wins, also leads the league in strikeouts with 22.

The Generals upped their record to 10-4 on the season, while the Marshals fell to 4-10.

The Generals return home tonight to take on the Woodlands Strykers at 7:05 at Riverside Stadium.

It's also Hometown Heroes Night. All firefighters, EMS, police officers, active and retired military and health care professionals will be let into the game for free. Go Generals!
