Victoria Generals Split Series with Aces Heading into 2nd Half of Season

The Victoria Generals fell to the Alexandria  Aces Saturday night 5-1, but managed a split in the 2-game series, as they gear up for the Texas Collegiate League All-Star game tonight, and the 2nd half of the season.

Tonight's All-Star game gets underway at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium, with the Home Run Derby starting at 6. The derby, sponsored by Victoria Nissan, could be worth $10,000 to one lucky fan. 7 fans will be chosen at random before the event, who will then be matched up with players in the derby. If their player hits a homer through the glove located above the Victoria Nissan sight in left field, they win the money. Fans who want to get a chance at the cash need to be at the game before 6pm.
