Back-to-back shutouts put the Victoria Generals back on a winning track over the Acadiana Cane Cutters 3-0 yesterday, and 4-0 on Saturday. Tyler Schnuriger gave up only 4 hits in 7 innings with 7 strikeouts in his first win of the season, while Trae Davis closed out the game in stellar fashion in the final 2 innings.

On Saturday, Cory Morrow led the Generals pitching staff earning his 3rd win of the season, going 7 scoreless innings, with 6 strikeouts, and only 4 hits as the Generals shutout the Cane Cutters 4-0 in the first of the 2-game series. Generals closer Tanner Green went the last 2 innings without allowing a hit.

The Generals improved to 12-7 on the season, while the Cane Cutters fell to 10-9.
The Generals are back in action tonight to host the Brazos Valley Bombers at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium.
