There have been an awful lot of traffic accidents in the area lately and tragically some have resulted in loss of life. This week's Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week involves a hit and run of a pedestrian who died as a result of their injuries. 

On Friday, March 13, 2015, at 5:20 am, 51 year old Deanna Faye Pagel was struck by a vehicle in the 800 block of South East Street and died from blunt force trauma.  Although Crime Stoppers has received numerous tips, the case is still active.  Police are asking anyone with information about this vehicle, which was seen in the area at the time of the collision, to contact Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200.If the information you give Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest or charges being filed, you could earn a cash reward.
