It's time to help Victoria Police solve a crime, and you just might make a little money for your efforts. This week, police need your help solving a burglary.

Just before 5 a.m. on Jan. 16, officers responded to the 200 block of Ridgewood Drive in in Victoria in  reference to a home invasion robbery. A black man in his mid to late 20s kicked in the front door of the home to make entry. Once inside, he displayed a handgun and demanded money from the homeowner.

When he discovered they did not have any cash, he took electronics and left the home.

The man was described as 5-feet 7-inches to 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs 175-190 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black baggy pants, and placed a women's nylon on his face to conceal his identity.
