Valentine's Day can be expensive. Just ask anyone who's tried to make a big impression  on their significant other. Jewelry, flowers, candy, stuffed animals, romantic dinners, it can certainly add up. But at least we can take solace in the fact that these things in Texas typically cost less than cities in other states. On the other hand, they're not the least expensive either.

With a comparison of factors including the cost of dinner for two, the price of movie tickets, the price of wine, the number of jewelry stores per capita, a study by the website WalletHub revealed that San Francisco, CA was the best city for Valentine's Day, while Hialeah, FL was the worst. Personally, I find that if you do a little legwork, you can make a good impression without draining your bank account.
