Progress comes at a price, or in this case, a minor inconvenience as the City of Victoria works on installing utility lines. Beginning tomorrow (February 10), the City will reduce William Street to one lane from Stayton Avenue to North Street for the work. The road will be open, but flagmen will direct traffic through the construction zone. This closure is expected to take 2 days, weather permitting.

All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible, and the public is encouraged to support businesses in the work zone. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.

For more information, contact the Public Works/Engineering Department at 485-3340.
