Update on Local Motorcyclist Injured August 16th

For those of you who are friends with Randy Duke and follow him on Facebook you already know how he's doing but for those of you who don't here's an update.

Randy has had surgery to repair his broken pelvis. He remains confined to a bed in a San Antonio hospital. He still has a long way to go before he can hope to start walking again.

He is in the process of being transferred to a care facility closer to Victoria to continue his physical therapy.

If you remember, Randy was injured the morning of August 16th when he struck a car who had pulled out in front of him. The driver of that care did not have a valid license nor did she have car insurance....go figure right?

That aspect of the story is ongoing...not sure what will happen to the driver if anything.

However, Randy continues to improve everyday but as I said...he still has a long road ahead of him. A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help the Duke family out and has already raised over $7,000 towards expenses.....awesome.
