The UHV Jaguars Softball Team looked pretty good winning in a record-setting 18 innings on Tuesday, but were overpowered by tourney #1 seed Oklahoma City 10-2 yesterday in the NAIA Tournament Opening Round.

The loss came after only 5 innings, when the game was called by the mercy rule. The loss ends the Jags season with an impressive 38-15. UHV Softball Coach Lindsey Ortiz says she is very proud of the team. The Jaguars have been to the NAIA Tournament's Opening Round 4 out of the last 5 years.

The Oklahoma City Stars now advance to the NAIA World Series.
