More accolades for University of Houston-Victoria sports from the Red River Athletic Conference, as players in both baseball and softball earned Players of the Week honors.

Andrew Goss was named conference Co-Player of the Week for his red-hot hitting for the Jaguars Baseball team, hitting 3 dingers, racking up 3 RBIs. Goss needs just 3 more homers to tie the team's single-season home run record of 17 set by Zane Williams in 2009. Goss shared Player of the Week honors with Alex Montero of LSU-Shreveport.

UHV Softball's Savannah Crittendon was hot both on the mound and at the plate, garnering her Conference Player of the Week.

Crittendon ended the week with a 2-1 record and an ERA of 1.65. She also hit 3 home runs last week.
