Statistics for the Week: Turned in a phenomenal week at the plate for the Jaguars in a four-game sweep over Our Lady of the Lake to clinch the Red River Athletic Conference regular season championship. She compiled a .467 batting average going 7 for 15 at the plate with seven RBIs, four runs and three triples. She had a .667 slugging percentage and a .467 on-base percentage. While playing third base, first base and pitching, she did not commit and error in the field in 30 chances as she recorded 30 putouts and 19 assists.

What advice would you give to a younger player about the sport you are involved in that would help them improve? If you want to be successful at softball, you can be. Never let anyone take away your love of the game. With hard work and dedication, anything is possible..

What is your background and experience in the sport you participate in? I’ve played since I was 8 years old. On a team called the CC Killer Beez, we won a ASA 12U state championship and a 12U ASA National Championship. I played four years of varsity softball at Flour Bluff where I was an utility player.

What is your favorite food? Sushi

Who is your favorite athlete? LeBron James
