Statistics for the Week: Carried a red-hot bat as she compiled a .611 batting average going 11-for-18 with seven RBI and five runs as the team’s designated player. She finished with a .611 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage while also stealing four bases in four attempts.

 What advice would you give to a younger player about the sport you are involved in that would help them improve? Be sure you learn to hit an outside pitch. Always stay in good shape.

 What is your background and experience in the sport you participate in? I have been playing since I was 5. As soon as I was old enough to play tournament ball I did. She also had success on the high school field where she won a Golden Glove and Silver Slugger award and earned all-district honorable mention in 2012-13 and 2015-16. Her dad also played football at Texas Lutheran.

 What is your favorite food? I enjoy Southern home cooking and shrimp of any kind.

 Who is your favorite athlete? Carlos Correa
