Tommy Lee Will Provide Drums for Next Smashing Pumpkins Album

What? Tommy Lee a member of the Smashing Pumpkins? Not really, but he is going to lend his expertise to the band for their upcoming album Monuments to an Elegy (whatever the f**k that means). Lee will be laying down the drum tracks for the album which is 1 of 2 new albums expected to be put out by the band in 2015.

To be honest, and this is totally my opinion, The Smashing Pumpkins haven't had a good album since Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness back in the mid 90's and even then it was far fetched to call it a good album but I guess we shall see. Perhaps they are tapping Tommy Lee for his star power who knows? But with him being on Motley Crue's farewell tour I'm not sure where he will find the time but hey, that's why they pay him to play the drums and me to talk about it.
