It’s not too late to get your tickets for the special “American Sniper” Dinner & A Movie event on Tuesday, September 22. Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. at Huvars and the movie starts at 6:50 p.m. at the Leo J. Welder Center.

Huvars dinner includes brick-oven pizza, dinner salad and iced tea. Tickets are $33 a person for dinner and the movie. Deadline to purchase those tickets is noon on Tuesday, September 22.

This will be a patriotic evening that includes the opportunity to help create a care package and write a thank you note for soldiers. The event is part of Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity’s Speaking of Sweat Equity series, which will feature Taya Kyle, wife of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle on October 1.

Purchase your tickets at:www.goldencrescenthabitat.org or at the Leo J. Welder Center box office (214 N. Main St.). Each ticket includes a $1 box office service fee.

Money raised from this event goes toward building Habitat homes for local low-income families.
