Earlier today we caught HBO handing out the first three episode descriptions for 'True Blood's sixth season, and now it seems that AMC's resurrected 'The Killing' has decided to do the same. Get the latest scoop on what Holder and Linden face in the first four episodes of 'The Killing' inside!

Whether or not you agree AMC should have resurrected the series, this Sunday will see the debut of all new episodes of Seattle murder-mystery drama, reuniting detectives Holder and Linden in a new case six months after the close of the Rosie Larsen murder that dominated the first two seasons. Accordingly, AMC has doled out the first three/four episode descriptions of the new season, which reveal a host of complications beyond a new killer on the loose abducting youths.

3.01-2 “The Jungle” / “That You Fear The Most” – June 2, 2013

Sarah makes a grim discovery connected to her past; Holder catches an unsettling case; Seward shows his true colors.

3.03 “Seventeen” – June 9, 2013

Sarah has her own motivations for joining the task force; Holder finds a new street informant; Seward strokes an old rivalry.

3.04 “Head Shots” – June 16, 2013

The task force closes down a business; Sarah and Holder unite in their pursuit of “the voice”; Seward is offered motivation to comply with orders.

The Killing’ season 3 picks up six months after the Rosie Larsen case’s end, as Linden returns from retirement to help Holder with a case that ties back to one of her previous investigations. Showrunner Veena Sud told us that the new case drew inspiration from real-life incidents, including photographer Mary Ellen Mark’s work depicting street youths in the 1970s, and the police investigation of Washington serial killer Gary Ridgway, which involved 50 women disappearing over the course of 20 years.

In addition to the casting of Peter Sarsgaard as death row inmate Ray Seward, ‘The Killing’ season 3 also boasts ‘Battlestar Galactica’ vet Aaron Douglas, ‘Flashpoint’s’ Hugh Dillon, Johnny Ray Gill, Amy Semeitz, Max Fowler and Elias Koteas among its cast.
