Friday may be the day for crazy bargains known as 'Black Friday', but it's also the start of the Christmas season and it's marked by the arrival of the Holiday Express.

For the 17th year, Kansas City Southern brings the Holiday Express to Victoria at 4 o'clock pm to US. 59 and Burroughsville Road. The Christmas-themed train brings the jolly old master of Christmas Santa Claus to town, on their way to visit 22 cities in 6 states, a holiday trip over 20 days.

This free event features not only Santa, but also elves, reindeer, a mimiature village, a gingerbread box car and more. The trip also includes distributing $172,500 in gift cards to Salvation Army locations at the various stops.
