The Houston Texans won the second preseason game of the year on Saturday, this time at home against the New England Patriots 27-23.

Starting quarterback Tom Savage connected with Jalen Strong for a 2-yard scoring pass in the first quarter, on his way to an 8 for 9 outing for 98 yards.

Rookie first-round draft pick Deshaun Watson played 2 quarters, and put up 102 yards in the air, and rushed for a 2-yard score.

Running back D'Onta Foreman caught 2 passes for 66 yards, and rushed for 10 yards and a 4-yard score in the 4th quarter. His big play came in the 3rd quarter when e caught a short pass from Deshaun Watson and after breaking several tackles went for a 63 yard gain. Foreman was a 3rd round pick in the draft, winning last year's Doak Walker Award as the best college running back in the nation.
