To say the Houston Texans played horribly in the first half of last night's game is a gross understatement. After Matt Schaub was picked off leading to a San Diego touchdown after only 15 seconds, I figured that would set the tone for the rest of the game....and it did....until the 3rd Quarter.

After being down 28-7 at halftime, it was time for the Texans to come together, and start playing football and the defense answered the call. Limiting the Chargers to 0 second half points the Texans Defense started playing like their contracts say they should play and the offense followed suit. A pair of touchdowns brought the Texans within 7 points of the Chargers. Then, with about 9:30 left in the game, Chargers Quarterback Phillip Rivers throws a laser to Danny Woodhead only to have it snatched out of mid air by a diving Brian Cushing who takes it back 20 yards for the tying TD. Then with only 5 seconds left on the clock, rookie kicker Randy Bullock kicks a 41-yard field goal to seal the deal and the game.

Texans win 31-28.

Next opponent: Tennessee Titans.
