On Tuesday of this week (3-8-11), Microsoft had plans to ship three security bulletins this month to cover at least four serious vulnerabilities in ALL supported versions of Windows. That includes the Windows OS, Microsoft Office and Microsoft’s Groove 2007. One will be rated “critical” while the others “important”.

As of this blog, it was not clear if these updates would include fixes for the recent Windows Browser protocol vulnerability.

So, if you missed the updates on Tuesday go to Microsoft’s website or click on Windows Update within your OS. By the way, have you installed the Bing Bar? One of the main attractions of the installation is the Facebook integration feature. If you have more than one Facebook account you can switch back and forth, using both accounts without having to log out of one and onto the other. It’s not for everyone, but if you have need, check it out. It also offers more features, including a simpler way to check those extra mail accounts without logging in and out as well.
