Steel Panther Bust Out Music Video for New Track ‘The Burden of Being Wonderful’

It's rare that a band opens themselves up so publicly to reveal such a deeply personal piece of art. The always introspective Steel Panther have just unveiled such honesty in the new track 'The Burden of Being Wonderful,' which will appear on the heavy metal act's third studio album, 'All You Can Eat.' It's also rare for the over-the-top to release a song that doesn't require a whole lot of bad word bleeping.

More Awesomely Bad Music Video-Welcome to Wally World

Awesomely bad music videos are flat out awesome. From the dated fashions to the cheesy imagery, it all adds up to one thing, a train wreck. I especially enjoy when the video shows the band out of synch with the music. At about 1:30 in, the song takes a completely different direction. And since you're shooting this on a public beach, it's always great to include a random girl walking behind the band while looking at her phone. Priceless!

Is this the Worst Video Ever Made? Entry #3 Shoots, Scores!

One thing leads to another, and when you start checking out bad music videos, they suddenly seem to reproduce exponentially. Here's an epic 80's pseudo-metal excursion by a band called 'Thor.' This one has plenty of cheese and as one commenter said about it: "Thank you, Thor. With the power of this video I was able to defeat the bear that lives on my window. I kicked its ass and roared in victory."

Is This the Worst Music Video Ever?

Sure, there is some pretty awful music out there. It seems like everyone who has a crappy band, and a video camera feels the need to torture us with their talent, or lack thereof. I ran across some pretty horrible videos recently, so I thought I'd share. The first one is by a woman named by Jan Terri, who's described as "a blend of Miss. Piggy, Jabba The Hut and William Hung."

The Best Reaction GIFs from the MTV VMAs

I didn't get a chance to watch the VMAS last night, but then again, I haven't watched MTV since the 80's. I think we all know MTV is basically the last place you'll find anything rock these days. I did look for the results online this morning though, and ran across this little gem that pretty much sums up what you might have missed.

Check Out Some Guitar Maniacs!

The guitar has always been the driving force in rock n' roll. The players who master the 6-string have always been our musical heroes, from back in the day to the virtuosos who constantly take guitar playing to unimaginable heights. The list of names that have awed fans and influenced players is extensive, going all the way back to Robert Johnson, Django Reinhardt, Chuck Berry and Les Paul, to newer guitar Gods like Jimi Hendrix,  Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani and countless others. One thing is for sure, opinions vary greatly as to who is the best. While that question has no correct answer, as least we can pay tribute to the greats on the internet through fan pages, videos  and e-books.
