Nearly 40 years after the Grateful Dead used it to get out of their contract with Warner Bros. — and flout the traditions of the “greatest hits” record while they were at it — the live album ‘History of the Grateful Dead Vol. 1 (Bear’s Choice)’ is getting the vinyl reissue treatment.
