In between all of the tributes and montages and musical performances, the SNL 40th Anniversary Special actually found time for some original content. Right after a montage celebrating the short films that have been featured on the show over the years, Zach Galifianakis took to the stage to introduce a new digital short from Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler. Unlike most of Samberg’s original shorts, which usually traded in genial silliness, this one looked inward and examined a subject that everyone who has ever been on the show should be familiar with: breaking character.

If you're going to have only one Facebook friend, it might as well be Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg. While it's unclear how many stars have Facebook profiles lovingly crafted by the Zuck himself, Andy Samberg has one, and he shared the story of its creation on last night's 'The Tonight Show' with a gobsmacked Jimmy Fallon. We're jealous.

Alas, the 39th season of 'SNL' has come and gone with this past weekend's return of cast alumni Andy Samberg (along with a number of others). Though, even with the tremendous 40th anniversary special looming in our futures, season 39 had one last golden egg to give. Watch Andy Samberg sell a unique cologne in a deleted short from this past weekend's 'SNL.'

It can be an odd experience when former 'SNL' cast members return to host the show. On one level, it's refreshing to see some of your favorite faces return to the stage. On another level, it's a reminder of what the show has lost (especially in a "rebuilding" season like this one). So the season finale's opening monologue was a bittersweet affair, with guest host Andy Samberg being joine

This season of 'SNL' has been all about truly weird and experimental digital shorts, so it only makes sense that guest host Andy Samberg (who helped pioneer them in the first place) would help make one of the strangest. There's almost no dialogue in this sketch and the joke isn't immediately accessible, but it's the kind of specific and eclectic comedy that 'SNL' tends to excel at when it wants to

When Andy Samberg was a cast member on 'SNL,' he routinely set the internet on fire with his digital shorts, but none were as popular as his Lonely Island music videos, which saw him, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone performing hip-hop music that often sounded like the real thing. Well, at least it would sound like the real thing if the subject matter wasn't totally crazy. With Samberg performing

We're not sure what it was about today that had the major networks promoting and canceling series left and right, but following CBS' full season orders, NBC's cancellation and 'Community' spree, FOX has given a full-season order to the Andy Samberg-starring cop comedy 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine,' as well as the coveted Super Bowl slot.

For as much as we miss Andy Samberg's presence on 'SNL,' and hope 'Parks and Recreation' producers Mike Schur and Dan Goor's new FOX comedy won't mean the end of Pawnee, we're doubly excited to see what becomes of the groups new single-camera detective comedy. FOX has officially picked up the script to pilot, and we've now learned 'The Newsroom' and 'Expendables' star Terry Crews has been tapped t

Never fear, Andy Samberg fans.  The timing of the unfortunate 'That's My Boy' with Andy Samberg's 'SNL' exit does not mean that the "D*ck in a Box" funnyman has abandoned TV for movies.  In fact, we've just learned that Samberg has signed onto an untitled FOX comedy from the creators of 'Parks and Recreation,' but who will the new sitcom see Samberg playing?  And what does it mean for th
