The makers of the upcoming film 'Northmen - A Viking Saga' have just made a phenomenal casting decision. While searching for actors to play Viking warriors, the filmmakers had the following epiphany: "Why don't we just bring in a real Viking?" And that they did, as Amon Amarth vocalist Johan Hegg has been recruited to play the role of a brutal warrior.

Amon Amarth are one step closer to their next release, as the band revealed the title and the album art for their upcoming disc. 'Deceiver of the Gods' arrives in June via Metal Blade Records. In addition, the group has moved to fill in some of the space between Mayhem Festival performances by announcing a handful of "off-date" shows for July and August.
