Street Repairs & Utility Work To Reduce Lanes, Close Roads This Week

If you travel North or South Navarro Streets in Victoria, you may want to find another route this week, as road and utility work may hamper your travel.

The City of Victoria will be reducing lanes on North Street to  a westbound direction only beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, January 26) from Navarro to Wheeler to repair pavement. Officials say the work should only take one day, and all businesses on the route will remain open.

Meanwhile beginning Wednesday (January 27), South Navarro Street will be closed to thru traffic as workers install new utility lines. This road closure is expected to be from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Keep these closures in mind when you choose your routes.
