Legendary Texas guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan is now a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and, soon may also have a tribute to both him and his brother Jimmie in Dallas.

The Vaughan Brothers Art Project has been put together to help raise funds for a memorial in Kiest Park, located near their childhood home. Dallas Art Program Manager Kay Kallos and former Buddy Magazine editor Kirby Warnock are working on the project, which already has some of the money it needs, courtesy of the city council but, more is needed.

The memorial would be located in Oak Cliff Park, just a few blocks from the Vaughan Brothers childhood home.
