Steven Tyler joined Alice Cooper and his stellar backing band onstage Saturday night (Dec. 31) to perform the Beatles classic ‘Come Together’ during a New Year’s Eve concert at Mala Wailea, a famous oceanfront restaurant at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, in Wailea, Hawaii.

Cooper needed a lyric cheat sheet to make it through the tune, but Tyler, who covered ‘Come Together’ with Aerosmith back in 1978, knew all the words (talk about a good memory!). Watch the video below closely and you can see none other than parody artist ”Weird Al” Yankovic bopping along in the background, directly to the right of Tyler.

Tyler also sang Aerosmith classics ‘Sweet Emotions’ and ‘Walk This Way’ during the gig, which was a charity fundraiser for the nearby Maui Food Bank and the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Other acts on the eclectic bill included Yankovic, Pat Simmons and Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers and producer Bob Rock.

Reports surfaced last week that Tyler and his longtime girlfriend, Eric Brady, recently got engaged after Brady was photographed on Christmas Day in Maui, Hawaii, wearing a diamond on her ring finger. Tyler’s reps have yet to confirm the news, but his jeweler said it is in fact true.
