The 2018 concert season is heating up, and we're very happy to see that Steely Dan is among the Classic Rock bands that have announced tours this year, including a few Texas dates.

The band that is known for a blending of rock,  jazz, pop, R&B and blues heads to the Smart Financial Centre at Sugar land on May 24th, and they play Austin 360 Amphitheatre on May 2th, both of those date with another Classic Rock staple, The Doobie Brothers.

It's great to see Steely Dan active despite the death of guitarist and co-founder Walter Becker, who passed away in September.

You're probably familiar with some of Steely Dan's biggest hits like 'Reeling In The Years', 'Do It Again' and 'Deacon Blues' which can be heard on KLUB Classic Rock 106.9.

The Doobie Brothers have been around since 1969, but their biggest impact came from hits including 'Listen To The Music', 'Black Water' and 'Jesus Is Just Alright', which can also be heard on our station.

It sounds like it will be a great tour. For tickets and info, click here.

Now, how about some concert video to get you in the mood?
