St. Louis Rams Wide Receiver Shot Twice in the Head

The story is still unfolding so pardon the lack of information but it appears that St. Louis wide receiver Stedman Bailey is in critical but stable condition after being shot twice in the head.

Reports say Bailey was sitting in a car with a relative and two younger relatives when someone approached the car and began shooting. The driver (Bailey's cousin) was hit multiple times trying to shield the kids from bullets. He is in critical condition as well but with life threatening injuries. Bailey remains in critical but stable condition at a Miami hospital.

Bailey was a third round draft pick for the Rams in 2013. No word yet if his career is in jeopardy.
