You've heard Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and more, but never quite like this. The latest awesome YouTube clip to make the rounds comes from Filthy Frackers, who have taken some of your favorite grunge era songs and re-imagined them in a new medley and video called '8-Bit Grunge.'

The creators have done a pretty faithful job of pulling imagery from each act's music videos and offering them in 8-bit video game graphics, while also offering a few nods to the '8-bit' video game history as well. You'll particularly get a kick out of Soundgarden being held captive in Donkey Kong's cell during the 8-bit interpretation of 'Rusty Cage.'

Alice In Chains' 'Man in the Box,' Stone Temple Pilots' 'Sex Type Thing,' and Nirvana's 'In Bloom' also turn up in the medley while Pearl Jam's 'Jeremy' comes off more synth-led in the 8-bit format.

Watch and enjoy the '8-Bit Grunge' medley above and check out Filthy Frackers' 8-bit heavy YouTube channel here.
