Sony Walkman Turns 35 Years OId

On this day back in good ol 1979, Sony introduced the first personal music player. The pocket sized cassette player with headphones would soon spawn an entire line of personal use radios, recorders and eventually CD players. And with the invention of the iPod and other mp3 devices....The Walkman is nothing more than a fleeting memory.
