If the world of social media does anything for culture, it allows us to see just how ridiculous some people can be. This was aided (if not proven) by the Weekend Update segment of last night's 'SNL.'

Newcomer Aidy Bryant conquered the role of Update's new social media expert, Kourtney Barnes, telling us exactly why social media has become such an "accurate barometer of public opinion" in the 2012 Presidential race. No more does it matter what the talk of the town is. Apparently, it's the talk of Twitter and Facebook that really counts.

As Bryant explains, now every voice is important — even all it says is "Obama = poop." We feel she may only be partly kidding... God, help us.
