Smile Empty Soul and Hed PE will start their 2014 on the road together, taking part in what's been dubbed the 'Chemical Free' tour.

Smile Empty Soul got the ball rolling with their sixth studio album, 'Chemicals,' last fall. The disc generated the single 'False Alarm' and the band issued a corresponding live video from one of their fall tour stops in Flint, Mich.

Hed PE, meanwhile, will use the upcoming 'Chemical Free' tour to launch the support of their forthcoming album 'Evolution.' Though the disc does not have a release date, a recent posting suggested that the album would arrive in 2014 and the band's return to the road hints that the disc is likely not long off.

The trek launches Feb. 19 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., with dates booked through March 9 in San Antonio, Texas. There are also three Smile Empty Soul headline shows just prior to the run.
