Sebastian Bach has been making the promotional rounds for his new book this past week, and at a stop on Eddie Trunk’s SiriusXM program Trunk Nation, he brought up the possibility of a reunion with his former Skid Row bandmates.

And from the sound of things, it’s the closest he and the group have been to patching up their differences. “All I can say is that [my manager] Rick [Sales] is talking to [Skid Row’s manager] Doc [McGhee],” Bach said (via Blabbermouth). That’s all I can say. That is what is happening, and I don’t have anything else to tell you. All I can tell you is we’re not getting any younger, folks. Let’s put the hair band back together while we’ve got hair.”

Bach just published his memoir, 18 and Life on Skid Row, while his former bandmates have been touring with ZP Theart, a British-born singer who replaced Tony Harnell, who briefly took over for Johnny Solinger, who had been with Skid Row for 15 years. Follow all that?

Getting Bach — who last appeared on Skid Row’s 1995 album Subhuman Race — back in the band would add some stability to the frontman role, since Thearn is only on board for live appearances and hasn’t been officially named as a member.

Earlier this year, Bach said he would welcome a Skid Row reunion. “Only way a Skid Row Reunion could happen is if we somehow tried2 bury a 20 year hatchet between us. Would love the chance to do so #SitDown,” he tweeted in January.

But founding guitarist Dave Sabo said he has no intention of getting back together with Bach. “Happiness, to me, is my spirit and my soul is more important to me than having dollars in my wallet,” he told The Aquarian Weekly last year.
