Sebastian Bach on New Memoir, 10th Anniversary of ‘Supergroup’ + Idolizing Cheap Trick

We caught up with Sebastian Bach during his recent tour stop in New York City. In this portion of our interview, Bach talks about his upcoming memoir, the 10th anniversary of VH1’s Supergroup reality show and how he idolizes Cheap Trick.

Sebastian Bach’s 18 and Life on Skid Row autobiography was supposed to be out earlier this year, but it’s been pushed back multiple times. We asked Bach why it’s been delayed so long, but the singer assured us the writing is completely finished. In fact, Bach penned 600 pages of his life story for the memoir.

It likely passed you by, but last month marked the 10th anniversary of Supergroup, which recruited Bach, Scott Ian, Ted Nugent, Evan Seinfeld and Jason Bonham to star in a reality show and record original music together. The result wasn’t stellar, though the show itself brought us some brilliantly chaotic moments. Bach reminisces about filming the show, feuding with Ted Nugent and how producers kept bringing up Bach’s recently deceased father.

When we asked Bach which singer he idolizes most, he picked Cheap Trick frontman and new Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Robin Zander. Watch Bach explain why in this video.

Check out the final piece of our exclusive chat with Sebastian Bach above! 18 and Life on Skid Row is currently scheduled for a Sept. 27 release. Click here to pre-order a copy.
