Welcome to ScreenCrush 360! Each Wednesday, the staff of ScreenCrush will bring you a great new ranking from the world of movies (or television, we contain multitudes) in video form. It’s all the fun of a list without all the pain of having to actually read it. Think of Top Five, but shorter!

This time out: We’re looking at theme park rides based on movies that were never made. A Ghostbusters shooting gallery? It almost happened at Six Flags. A Tower of Terror based around Mel Brooks instead of The Twilight Zone? Yep, that was a real idea too. A massive mountain at Disney devoted to Indiana Jones and a “lost expedition”? That one got squashed as well. The expedition may have been lost but Disneyland did get an Indy ride that’s still in operation today.

ScreenCrush 360 is an original series dedicated to listing all kinds of things from the worlds of television and movies; sample other ScreenCrush series like Top Five, Critics Are Raving, and You Think You Know Movies below. Plus, we want your feedback, so be sure to let us know what 360s you want to see next! And don’t forget to subscribe to the ScreenCrush YouTube channel below to catch all our future installments. Until next time, always remember: The Tower of Terror was almost a tower dedicated to Mel Brooks. The real terror is that it never happened.
