Drew Brees bailed out kicker Zach Hocker in a HUGE way on Sunday. Brees would connect with C.J. Spillar for an 80-yard catch and run touchdown in overtime to hand the Cowboys their 2nd straight loss of the season. Did we mention that TD pass from Brees was his 400th of his career? Bet that was a lot sweeter.

Brees didn't exactly have a stellar night. This was his first week back after a shoulder injury sidelined him. But that didn't stop the Saints from picking up their first win of the season. Before Brees' heroics, Brandon Weeden went 91 yards to tie the game at 20-20 with a little under two minutes left in the fourth quarter. The backup, filling in for Tony Romo, threw a touchdown pass on fourth down to a diving Terrance Williams in the end zone.

The Saints followed suit and drove all the way down to the Cowboys 14 yard line with 13 seconds left in regulation. Enter kicker Zach Hocker who shanked the field goal attempt wide left forcing the game into overtime.

Then Brees connected with Spillar and the rest is history.

The Saints travel to Philadelphia this Sunday while the Cowboys are at home. That's the good news. The bad news? They play host to Tom Brady and the visiting red hot Patriots. Loss number 3? We shall see.
