At one time, Robin Trower was touted as the next Hendrix. Obviously Jimi Hendrix was and always will be in a league of his own but, Robin Trower is certainly no slouch.

Coming from the seminal band 'Procul Harum', Robin carved out his niche as a guitar hero with his first solo album 'Twice Removed From Yesterday' in 1973, That led to 1974's 'Bridge Of Sighs', one of my personal all-time favorites. Robin is still putting out great music and, he's currently on tour, with dates this week in Houston and San Antonio.

Thursday (June 4) he's at the House Of Blues, Saturday (June 6), he's at the Aztec Theater and, Sunday (June 7) he'll be at One World Theater.
