Earlier this year,  said they would take some time to recharge their batteries before recording a new album. In the meantime, they will release the compilation 'Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000 – 2013' Sept. 10 on Interscope Records.

The album will include songs from throughout Rise Against's career that have not appeared on any of their studio albums. You can watch a teaser for the album below and get more info on the disc here.

“In the last thirteen or so years Rise Against has put out six records, each one we are proud to put our name on,” says frontman Tim McIlrath. “But we are just as proud of these 26 songs that slipped through the cracks and never ended up on any of our full lengths. In various ways, most of these songs saw the light of day at some point, but we thought we would spare you the digging and put them all on one record.”

The band's last studio album was 2011's 'Endgame,' which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also spawned three Top 10 singles: 'Help Is on the Way,' 'Make It Stop (September's Children)' and 'Satellite.'

When it comes to touring, the band has a light schedule for the rest of 2013. They have a couple dates in South Korea in August, and will play Warped London in November.
