The Texas Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners in dramatic fashion yesterday, when Rougned Odor hit a 2-run homer in the 9th for an 8-7 win. That marks 25 home runs for Odor, as the Rangers wrap up their 4th win in a row, and the AL leading Rangers move to a 10 & 1/2 game lead over the Mariners.

The Houston Astros are 2 games behind Baltimore in the 2nd AL wildcard race, with a 3-1 win over Oakland yesterday.

Collin McHugh pitched 6 shutout innings, and both Colby Rasmus and Evan Gattis each hit home runs in the win. The Astros are 8 & 1/2 games out of first, behind Texas in the AL west.
